She is a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical school where she teaches postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychology. She is a past president of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the Massachusetts Psychological Association, and the MA Neuropsychological Society. Her research focuses on improving communication about neuroscience with patients and the general public.

Dr. Postal has a lifespan private practice dedicated to helping people think better in school, at work, and throughout later life. She frequently works with students from elementary school through college to overcome barriers to academic success. She also has an expertise in working with traumatic brain injury and neurological conditions that can affect brain function in the latter part of a person’s life.
